Grandpa's Birthday :)

It's just two weeks after my birthday and it's now Grandpa's turn. We had a good buffet meal at our usual haunt Cafe Plaza, and I ate a lot of the banana prata and the chocolate fondue that they were famous for. :)

Kaiyang seems amazed by my clapping. Lol.

Look at how fast I can cruise on the carpet! Must be the effect of the fondue!

I think I should be able to walk by myself pretty soon!

My Birthday Celebration

I had my 1st birthday celebrated at the Globetrotters Restaurant @ United Square. Mummy & Daddy didn't invite so many people cos they wanted it to be a very special occasion. Hence only our immediate family were invited. :)

The restaurant even specially decorated the place for me! :)

Mummy had chosen this place because it has a playroom for children. Hm... she knows very well that I'm not the type who can sit still. So while the rest were having their meal, I spent most of my time playing inside the playroom with the rest of the children.

Yeah, my 1st birthday. I am proud to tell you that I am now 1 year old! Crossing from babyhood to toddler, I gotta learn to do more things and be more independent. Stay tuned on my next few milestones. I'll definitely share some with you...

As promised, Mummy and Daddy took me to zoo today to celebrate my 1st birthday. Though the sky was just abit sunny, Mummy still applied "Avent Sunscreen" on me to ensure that I was well protected from the UV light.

Summary of my 1st day out to Singapore Zoo:

1. Got to see lots of animals but too bad, being so young and not fully understanding things around me, I did not seem to appreciate them.

"Fish" is what I can easily identify.. Learnt it from Aunty Lim!

2. To make things worse, Mum & Dad had to carry most of the time coz I refused to be seated in my pram.

3. I also did not want to drink much water but I love the apple juice from the cafeteria. In fact, it was my 1st attempt to drink using straw.. And yes, I made it though some juice found its way out from my little mouth.

"Mummy, where's my juice? Okay, since you are paying for it, I will take my fruits first."

4. Right after lunch, being so tired and warm, I ended up taking my nap and that was not even half of our journey.

I was sleeping right underneath Ah Meng's tree. I was so tired I didn't even mind sleeping in the pram.

5. After my nap, we went to watch dog show. I loved this part cos I got to touch and pat a dog and I was not afraid at all. No photos to share, but we took a video on it.

6. Reached home around 4pm, still energized. But almost time for my nap again before we made our way for my birthday dinner.

My dress was a gift from Aunty Lim on her trip to Thailand... So sweet of her.

It's going to be my Birthday tomorrow!

So excited!

Daddy & Mummy's going to bring me to the zoo tomorrow to celebrate my 1st birthday! Can't wait for tomorrow to come! :)

I now look quite different to when I was born, ya? :)
